10th of October

We researched a global problem and an existing solution. Then we analyzed the functionality, on a global scale, of the solution. I've actually enjoyed this project and love that it is open ended. To me, you get what you put into this class. The solution that reached was solar power instead of nonrenewable energy. I had to create an artifact to visually show my solution to the class. I created a method of holding a panel at certain angles. I actually got excited when I came up with a way to measure the angle of the solar panel without a protractor. I created 45 45 90 and 30, 60, 90 triangles with the measurements of the sides of the triangles. I think that this class is encouraging me to think creatively and even to use my math skills creatively.
